Grader Verification of Competency – Online


The Verification of Competency (VOC) course for Grader Operations is a nationally recognised method of assessment that can be used to demonstrate a person’s ability to operate equipment and/or undertake the responsibilities of the Grader operator.
Course Overview
This Verification of Competency (VOC) will verify your skills in grader operations and the competent operation of a certain make and model of machinery.
Entry Requirements
A Verification of Competency is only for operators who already hold a licence or ticket for grader operations. Please note: You will be required to provide acopy of this when completing the online enrolment.

How to Enrol
Step 1 – Book online
Step 2 – upload 1 form of identification and also your previous statement of attainment to verify you hold current competence in the VOC course you are seeking verification.
Step 3 – Complete a VOC Knowledge Check and to access the VOC demonstration checklist link for you to provide to your chosen competent person to complete (Note: You will receive a copy of the completed demonstration to your email address, for you to upload to the portal).
Step 4 – You will receive your verification of competency award with the unit and machinery or demonstrated level details.

Assessment
Assessment is based on competency (the ability to demonstrate specific skills), depending on delivery, may be undertaken through a combination of observation and discussion, and written.
Certification
A nationally verifiable VOC transcript will be issued by Civil Safety upon successful completion of VOC requirements, provided that all requirements have been met and course fees are paid in full.
